About The Event

The Falcons have fielded women’s football teams since 1990 and back then, women’s footy was largely invisible. So too were LGBTIQA+ women. Falcons’ women have helped make the invisible, visible. Our extraordinary guest speakers have been front and centre of the transformation of women’s footy into the AFLW franchise is it today. We are honoured to share their stories.

This is an opportunity not to be missed! Places are extremely limited.

Special Guests:

Sal Rees, Founding Falcon and her story of the 1995 AFL draft

Darcy Vescio: Falcon and Carlton AFLW star

Julia Chiera: Falcons VFLW Assistant Coach, Carlton AFLW Welfare Manager, former player & former Club President

Patty Kinnersly: Former Falcon player, Carlton FC Board Member, CEO Our Watch

MC – Emma Race (Outer Sanctum Podcast and Proud Falcon Mum)
