How to be an Inclusive LGBTIQ+ sport club (Online)

This session will help assist LGBTIQ+ sports clubs and organisations (including Team Melbourne clubs) be an inclusive club beyond the parameters of sexuality. It will help clubs understand key policies and legal requirements, and how to attract new members to your club, to ensure long term sustainability. Topics will include anti-racism and embedding gender equitable practices, considerations when working with Indigenous communities, and increasing cultural competency for committee and club members.  

 Key learning units will include:     

How to engage with other aspects of diversity, including disability, cultural diversity, and gender diversity, and all members across rainbow communities.   

How to enact gender equitable practices and polices within your club  

Inclusive marketing and communication including social media and websites.
