Brisbane Inferno

Founded in 2016 by Tom Chai, Dan Lord, and John Grady, Brisbane Inferno FC (BIFC) emerged as an LGBTQI+ inclusive soccer group, initially gaining momentum with social soccer games at New Farm Park. However, the journey was not without its challenges; field availability and inconsistent attendance led to a temporary halt in activities in mid-2018. Brisbane Inferno's success culminated in a partnership with Brisbane Strikers Football Club, making Perry Park their official home ground. This new chapter provides opportunities for weekly Wednesday night training and Saturday afternoon mixed social soccer, welcoming new players of all skill levels and experience. The club's achievements, from their constitution being voted in during their inaugural AGM to hosting prominent events like the Josh Cavallo Shield, reflect their unwavering commitment to inclusivity, community engagement, and the love of soccer.
